SikTh have released their new single ‘Cracks Of Light’, taken from their latest album The Future In Whose Eyes? which is out now via Millennium Night. The track features Periphery’s Spencer Sotelo; the first ever guest vocalist on a SikTh album.
Summer 2017 saw Periphery touring in the UK, and offered the chance for SikTh frontman Mikee Goodman to not only perform with the band during their London headline show, but film Sotelo for the video ‘Cracks Of Light’.
“I met up with Spencer in Manchester, we literally found a cloak room, put a white sheet up and got the shots,” Goodman recalls. “Very DIY but it looks great! I think it came out really well, the black and white vibe is cool.”

“I have had a lot of positive messages from fans thanking me for the lyrics in this song actually. Cracks of Light is a dark song but it does have a positive message,” he continues. “Inspiration comes from my own battles with depression and trying to find light through the darkness. Some days people have to go through such sadness to find the happiness. People learn a lot more about themselves in certain situations like this.”
