Buckinghamshire modern metal sextet As Everything Unfolds are poised to return with their brand new EP ‘Closure‘ which will be released on  19th October 2018. Following on from last year’s ‘Collide’, the upcoming release of ‘Closure’ will be led by the release of their insanely catchy, sing-along single ‘Despondency’, due for release 28th September.

Hailing from a town once referred to as “famous for chair-making and pub violence”, High Wycombe heroes As Everything Unfolds know that bigger is better. With their upcoming EP release ‘Closure’, the six-piece have expanded upon their melodic values, whilst simultaneously refining their sound even further in the wake of 2017’s ‘Collide‘.

‘Closure’ stands as a very personal release to vocalist Charlie Rolfe, and indeed, to the whole band. Though Charlie channels thoughts on her own personal issues and life experiences in the EP’s lyrical content, the EP was written during a turning point experienced by all six members. Completing studies, changing careers and even calling an end to romances, ‘Closure’ lives up to its name as a coming-of-age statement from As Everything Unfolds…a movement away from their younger selves and a hopeful gaze toward who they hope to become.

As Charlie explains, “Overall, the EP has a lot of pent up hatred and anger. This was my closing chapter on holding onto those feelings, I’m done feeling emotions for people who no longer feel them for me, it’s time to focus on other things and ‘Closure’ is the perfect ending chapter.”

As Everything Unfolds released the music video to EP opener ‘17:10’ on June 27th 2018, which has already racked up over 50,000 views. 

As well as announcing the release of a brand new EP, As Everything Unfolds will be heading out on the road, touring with long-time friends THECITYISOURS. Having previously shared stages with Black Peaks, Dream State, Novelists and Palm Reader, the band have this to say about their upcoming tour:

“We’re super excited to go on tour with THECITYISOURS. They’re a band we’ve had the pleasure of sharing the stage with and growing up alongside since the very beginning.
Some of our best memories as a band have been at shows we’ve played with THECITYISOURS and we’re hoping that this tour will be full of just as many great memories and amazing shows as we’ve become accustomed to.
There isn’t a band out there who works nearly as hard as these boys do and it’s a privilege to be able to head out on the road with them, not just as a band but as good friends.”
